Ordinary passport holders of the following countries can obtain three month-multiple entry visas at the Turkish border gates:
Australia and the United States:
3 months – 20 $ or 15 Euro
The European Union and the United Kingdom:
3 months – 20 $ or 15 Euro or 10 £
Russian Federation:
2 months – 20 $ or 15 Euro
Canada:
3 months – 60 $ or 45 Euro
Ukraine:
3 months – 30 $ or 20 Euro
South Africa:
1 Month – 15 $ or 10 Euro
Passport Required?
Any nationality requiring a passport must have at least 6 months remaining validity from the day of entry into the country.
For Great Britain, Australia, Canada, and the United States, a passport is required.
At last report, a return ticket is required for British, Australian, Canadian, USA, and EU nations. Normally an airline will not allow you to board without evidence of a return ticket.
Passport is not required for nationals of Belgium, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Luxembourg, Malta, The Netherlands and Spain, who can enter with a national ID card (which must have a validity of one year).
Visa Required?
Tourists and business visitors from the following countries do require visas and can obtain a sticker-type entry visa at the point of entry for a fee (prices are dependent on nationality):
90 Days: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Ireland, Italy, Malta, The Netherlands, Portugal, Slovenia, Spain, the UK and USA.
30 Days: Greek Cypriot Administrative Region, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania and Slovak Republic.
As of 2009, visa policies for the following countries were abolished mutually:
Syria; Albania; Libya; Jordan; Tajikistan; Azerbaijan; Lebanon; Saudi Arabia – unilateral (as of Jan. 10, 2010). In addition to these, negotiations have been initiated to abolish visa requirements mutually with the Russian Federation.
