Diver Guidelines/Instructions:
- We recognise certification from PADI, CMAS, BSAC, NAUI and SSI. For others please ask!
- Our usual maximum group size is 4 per divers per dive leader
- All diving excursions are made by boat
- You must arrive at the Bougainville Travel Office a minimum of 15 minutes before time on your 1st day of diving
- The boat leaves and arrives for the area dive sites twice daily: 08:30h. – 12:00h. and 14:30h. – 17:00h.
- Divers are insured through Divers Alert Network (DAN) and 3rd party liability
- Instructors, divemasters and boat staff speak English, German and/or Turkish
- By Turkish Law Divers must be at least 14 years old. Divers younger than 18 must have the approval of a parent or guardian
Insider Tips
- Captain Bayram’s hospitality and apple tea are legendary!.
- Dive Briefings with a short talk and charts are conducted before each dive by the Dive Leader.
- Informal dive “debriefs” often involve a cold beer or coffee at one of the pavement cafés near the harbour.

- All dives are usually in groups of maximum 4 persons
